Giving Impact is our latest lab project inspired by the needs of organizations we have worked with and our desire to have a tool that allows us to create engaging online donation campaigns.
Giving Impact is a new web application/service that provides organizations with the ability to create project-based online giving campaigns that live on THEIR website. These giving opportunities tap into the potential of viral social networks allowing donors to promote them to their network of friends and followers and provides organizations with valuable data to measure campaign success.
We recently held a focus group with support from our friends at MOUSE, Inc., where we shared the application with six development leaders from six different nonprofit organizations. Their feedback was overwhelmingly positive and is helping us strengthen our offering now and in the future.
