The knitting project
A change in season often dictates a change in behaviour, and the hard-working women at nymanink have begun to nestle and hoard. Instead of nuts, we’re squirreling away knitted squares to create beautiful, warm blankets to donate to an Out of the Cold program.
There has been much grunting, squinting and many calls for help in our office of amateur knitters. That’s why we’re asking for the help of our generous, talented clients and friends. What could be nicer than watching the leaves change colour as you work your needles for a worthy cause? Any colour or weight of wool will do — we’re very good with slightly wacky colour combinations — as long as the squares are 24 rows x 24 rows and knitted with size 6 needles. The squares can be dropped off in person or mailed to us, and we’ll do the rest.
For more information about the project and how you can help, please contact Trish Osuch at (416) 516-6999, ext. 115, or by e-mail at tosuch@nymanink.com. Click here for a very handy video with beginner’s instructions.

One update you won’t want to miss is the advent of inktank, our own nymanink
blog. Launching in January 2009, our blog will be a way for us to share our personal (and professional) takes on design, content and everything in between. Stay tuned for more information.
